Leaders have stooped down to mean levels

The politics in India is becoming very wild. The opposition parties call the Prime Minister as TEA SELLERS, MEAN PERSON whereas the Prime Minister getting angry gives a statement calling them TRAITORS OF INDIA, colluding and arranging a meeting with Pakistan, and other opposition members. These are all during the time of Election campaign. Recently, during elections in Gujarat such ugly statements and mean levels of mudslinging has appeared on the Election Campaigning platforms.
Is it not stooping down to mean levels just for winning the elections?
This appears to be totally gross and indisciplined way of winning the elections.
No respect for the Prime Minister, the only target is winning the election.

You just need to say what populous will like. You no need to care about morals or watch your mouth. This is what politics is and this is what needed to win the election.
