#9 Odd Facts: Is The Earth Being Ruined? What Should We Believe?

There is HUGE conflict in what people believe when it comes to what is really happing on the EARTH. Let me give you an EXAMPLE: According to "Citizen's Guide to Global Issues: Coalition for a Global Tomorrow "Advanced nations manufacture some 70,000 chemicals, MOST of which have not been thoroughly tested...Careless use and disposal of these substances contaminate our food, water, and air, and seriously threaten...the ecosystems on which we depend." According to "Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity" written by John Stossel Under the heading: "MYTH: Chemical pollution is the cause of the cancer epidemic. TRUTH: There is no cancer epidemic." That is written word for word from the book. Stossel says: "We think there's a cancer epidemic, because we hear more about cancer." "The other big reason we think there is an epidemic is that the media suspicious of chemicals, hype dubious risks." He says: "Despite exposure to radiation and all those nasty new chemicals, Americans today live longer than ever." He could be right about living longer because Americans usually get more medical care than people do in other countries. That medical care keeps people from dying from many other illnesses and accidents not related to cancer at all. On the other hand, the longer life that Americans get is more than likely filled with thousands of cancer patients who are supposedly kept alive with more radiation and chemotherapy. So IRONIC. We get more radiation from the SUN because we're destroying the ozone layer and we are exposed to 70,000+ chemicals that can cause cancer and yet the treatment is MORE radiation and MORE chemicals. I am a cancer survivor and I refused BOTH chemo and radiation. I'm still here after almost 9 years. What do you think? Who do you believe? Who do YOU believe?

I know one other person who refused treatment and beat cancer as well but I think I would take the treatment rather then risk not doing anything and dying. I am amazed truly that you are still here but very glad!

Everyone must make their own decision. Each person and each situation is different.
