As and when there is a hike in the salaries of employees, the Auto Drivers come up with their demands causing inconvenience to the regular auto fliers. They have been doing this for a very long time. The entry of Vola and Uber gave a lot of relief to the people and they are feeling it comfortable to engage a cab with the press of a mobile. The cab comes and picks the passenger. Even in the Railway Stations and Bus Stands the passengers are preferring to engage these cabs instead of going in Autos. The auto drivers if by chance get into them, are not demanding any extra amount which was earlier they were exercising as a matter of right. They are now instead of going as per meter asking for a flat rate. If we agree they are taking the passengers without any hassle. Added to this, the introduction of Metros trains has made them very humble. They are not getting passengers for long distances. They are preferring the autos only to Metro stations from their house or vice versa. Most of their regular customers are now going to distance places in Metros only which may cost only Rs.50 or at the most Rs.100/-. The Autos are now snubbed totally.
