HTML is the base of page design,all the other languages must depend on html to show what they want to show. so you cant compare html with other language like php,asp or jsp.

You can't really compare the two. If you want to create dynamtic webpages you have to use a powerful serverside scripting like PHP. HTML dosen't do this at all. There's no deeper functionality in HTML, you have to learn both :-)

yeah i also like it, php is easy and best, it is used widely for web programming, very popular and ideal. i am learning is online from different sites and tutorials.thanks

if you dont like HTML, so how do you control your page visualization? can you do it with php? wew .... you cant do nothing without HTML tag, event if you're the greatest PHP Programmer on the planet Server Side Scripting Case I vote For ASP.NET

you cant make web with php without html/css . php is programming language. Everything you see in your browser is html, php is working in server and returning html code to visitor browser
