Hello, all ! Got up early enough today that I got photos of a gorgeous sky. Things were a bit of a different day today. At work it was the last day of school before the Christmas break. It was "Pajama Day" so most of the kids (and teachers) came in their P.J.s. We had a "tea party" which lots of the parents attended, as well. Several of the parents gave the teachers little gifties, and a couple of the teachers gave out gifts too. I got gifts for my boss and co workers, but of course all but one of them (which arrived earlier) came today after I got home. As I told the ladies, they will be new year's gifts. The kids sang a couple of songs, and then we all had cookies and tea sandwiches and these: things I couldn't pronounce the name of: my co worker who made them said they were "flat churros". After the party was over and everyone left the school, the teachers all went out to lunch at this Italian place. I got some gnocchi in pesto sauce. We stayed at the restaurant for a while, then we finally came home so I could check out my gifts. From the kids and parents there were a lot of Starbucks gift cards, that usually happens every year. I walked Angel, and now I'm home with her and will be home for two weeks. I hope to get some more things up on eBay during this time.
