Erie is really getting hit bad and we have gotten really lucky so far. Normally it is the other way around. They are in a state of emergency and the National Guard has been called in. They put out an order that if you got caught out in it without winter tires or chains and was caught you would be fined. Well hubby had to go out in it to take someone back into Erie today. Luckily he got in and out without being caught or anything. Before you think he was stupid there really was no choice because if he hadn't the person would have gone to jail all because of bad weather. Screwed up that there is the closing of everything but the life of someone trying to just see his kids during the holiday didn't matter. Get back or back to jail. Anyways he got him there and got home. Here is a little news on it. Since this time we now have been declared as a State of Emergency and the National Guard is out. See what we get overnight.
