I love American muscle cars!

I’m really into classic car restoration shows right now. We’ve had American shows like Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Karina over here for about three years now and also Phantom Works has recently arrived. We have a lot of custom car shows from America to, including Counting Cars and American restoration from the Pawn Stars Universe , then stuff like Overhaulin and Fast and Loud, and of course Sin City Motors, where they do those ugly rat rods. It’s a really good mix and although many are contrived shows and heavily edited for timeline reasons they are still entertaining and informative. I’m not quite convinced the shows main characters fix up the cars but you have to sallow some magic dust for these to work. In the U.K we have Wheeler Dealers and, of course, Top Gear, and the hybrid The Grand Tour on Netflix. I just love learning about how to fix cars, how they work and what you can add to them to go a hell of a lot faster. Some of the older 1960s and 70s muscle cars are beautiful things and I have really enjoyed those cars the most from the US shows. I don’t quite get the 1950s thing with all the fins and big curves but the later cars are wow. • 1964 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power. Quick Stats: ... • 1971 Buick GSX with Stage-1 Performance Pack. Quick Stats: ... • 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. Quick Stats: ... • 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454. ... • 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. ... • 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda. ... • 1969 Dodge Charger R/T-SE. ... • 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500-KR. My favourite British sports cars are classic Aston Martin’s and Jaguar’s and we also see the Italian classic restored cars like Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo and Mercedes. One of my favorite is the Fiat Coupe, an affordable mix of European and American coupe styling and Italian engine power. This would be my dream car as it is doable. • FIAT 500, 1957 – 1975. • FERRARI 212 TOURING BARCHETTA, 1951 – 1953. • MASERATI A6GCS BERLINETTA, 1953 – 1955. • FERRARI 250 GTO, 1962 – 1964. • LAMBORGHINI MIURA, 1966 – 1973. • ALFA ROMEO 33 STRADALE, 1967 – 1969.

I can picture what all those cars on the list look like except one Phillip ! ...The closest thing I came to a classic was a 1970 Fiat Spyder...I LOVED that car but oh what trouble!... The slang phrase : " Fix It Again Tony " applied so well ..... Although it wasn't a true classic , I had a 1979 Mustang Turbo , which in Canada here there were very few around ...sometimes I wonder if It survived if it would be worth anything today .

@thedevilinme I used to steal my brother's car and got into a minor accident. He almost killed me when he saw the bumper.

Don't forget Bumblebees. Corvettes with 425 engines. When I was a kid, I wanted a Camaro Z28.
