This afternoon my brother and I went to my mom's investment broker (still not sure what her title is) and signed some papers.
My head's kind of swimming right now, though even right at the moment when everything was being "explained" (in broker-ese, which I don't speak) I couldn't understand quite what she was talking about, so I sure couldn't remember so I could say it here.
So, things are moving along. There's quite a few more appointments we'll have with the broker and the lawyer, and we'll get through them, too.

I don't know about soon--but there's so much to do, I'm not sure what will be done when to be honest.

Good you got that meeting out of the way now Stacey and that things are getting done for you and your brother. I too would not be versed in broker-ese.
