Trumps first year?

So a year on from Trumps unbelievable appointment as US President and where are we? For those idiots who voted Trump believing his absurd rants are going to be enacted are the ones being hit hardest with his eventual policies. Only this week Trump awarded himself a huge annual tax cut of $15 million dollars and similar for the super rich in the same bracket through his tax bill ,signed to law. The Swamp did not get drained. But anyone with a brain cell knew this would happen. Those huge tax cuts are money lost to public services and will hurt Trump voters even more. You could also say Obama hasn’t really delivered for Black Americans in the pursuit of balance in his 8 year term, black unemployment rates still twice as high as whites. Politics is only ever about lying and false promises to get votes, and because Trump funded his own campaign he could say what the hell he wanted to on his buck and stump to get those idiot votes during the primaries, and he is still saying it as president. It’s astonishing stuff. That demographic he is betraying will also be his downfall for a second term when those guys get nothing and so vote his party out in the midterms. There will be no Mexican wall, of course, but a metaphoric one, Mexicans being kicked out quicker than they arrive now. 93% that arrive in a detention center are gone a week later, many on the next bus. Bush and Obama were kicking them out back in their presidential terms but their numbers looking higher due to reclassification of deportations. A lot of deported Mexicans were border hoppers and now that they are fingerprinted is easier to get an annual number. One million Latinos are involved with the Borders services ever year under trump. Ironically, many of the people working in his hotels are first and second generation immigrants. To be fair to Trump, with 50,000 unaccompanied kids crossing the border every year then you have to do something, right? Obama’s ‘Dreamers’ amnesty for illegal but settled workers in America to become US citizens only encouraged more illegal immigration and so this has to be tempered also. NATO is still there and so no go on that one either. Trump wants the member countries to spend 2% on defence. That means he wants them to buy US weapons. Trade deals are being torn up though as promised as protectionist policies take effect and so some help to keep jobs in the Rustbelt. He is still trying to wreck Obamacare, of course; I guess revenge on Obama for humiliating Trump at the annual Press dinner at The White House. He also did it as hardcore Republicans simply don’t want poor black Americans and Mexicans to get free healthcare on their tax dollar. 20 million Americans have been denied healthcare help in Trumps first year.

It turns my stomach every time I hear his name on the news, he is such an idiot and I along with a millions of Americans want him removed, fingers crossed he has broken the rules enough to get kicked out soon. My family came to Canada to work years ago and we became Canadians but kept our American status too. But I am very happy here in the north and glad I'm not in the USA.
