I ended up with a great deal today...

I decided to go into one of the local thrift stores and found a wonderful deal. It was a total surprise, because I just went in there to browse. I have been wanting to replace some of my KitchenAid appliances, that I once owned, and lost. This past year I found one of their large food processors, and attachments for $16; which brand new can be up to $300 or more, depending upon where you purchase it. Then later in the year, I found their toaster oven for only $15; and this product can cost up to $200 brand new. Today... I found an almost new blender. I have been wanting a KitchenAid blender for a while now. And I got it for only $10. I left the price tag on it, until I can get it washed. A brand new one can cost up to $190. My next dream is to get the stand mixer, and all the additional, separate, attachments. I spent a pretty penny on all this stuff, brand new. But due to my low income, I can not afford to purchase them brand new anymore. I have been pretty blessed to find most of those products almost new, or in very good condition. So as long as they are in good shape, I am happy. The only drawback is that it is hard to find the right colors. Most of my appliances were either in black, or stainless steel. I had only one that was in white, but it blended fine with the rest. The mixer I found today was in a light gray, so I think it will blend just fine with my black toaster oven. The only odd color I have is my food processor. It is in cobalt blue. But for the price I just could not pass it up. I now have one more product in my collection that I have been looking for...

I am looking for a better blender at low cost. Mine is broken. It has lost its power to blend.

If the appliance works fine, who cares about the color?

You might find a higher quality at a thrift store for that price. However, if you go to Walmart, get an Oster. They are pretty dependable.
