working in the resturant business

Who else works in this hell hole? ever since i have been old enough to work, that is where i have been. i need a career change! anyway who else works in this business and what is your role?

I have worked as a cook mainly and a waitress in resturants all of my life. It is very hard work. So many jobs for one person. And you never can do enough to please anyone. It certainly is a thankless job. I got to love the customers where I worked, though.

Thankless and humbling job. I think everyone should be a server at least once in their life, that way when people go out to eat, they understand and know how to treat the people who serve them their food and drinks.
