Bartending

Anyone else been a bartender? i Love doing it, it is so much fun, and i make good money as a bartender. i love working weddings, and banquets. its fast easy money. how about you?

I cant say that going to bartending school really helps. you have three kinds of jobs. First are the ones that wont hire you unless you have two or more years experience, second are the kind that say you haev to work your way up the pole (resturants), and finally the job i got. The ones who are so desperate they dont care! i got into working at the Rangers baseball field, because they needed people so badly. Now i have my two years experience and can go anywhere i want.
Look in the newspaper, sometimes they advertize for bartenders. Also if you go to school for baretending normally they will help place you in a job.

I do. I am a bartender in a club, I work there every Thursday night and I enjoy doing it a lot.

I used to work as a bartender quite a bit. I really enjoyed it. I think it depends on the type of people who frequent the bar where you work. I was lucky to work at bars where nice amiable people came to have fun. I would not like to work at a bar where there is frequent fighting.
