A moose in Canada is rescued by snowmobilers

Seven snowmobilers did an incredible act of heroism when they were able to save a small moose that was stuck in snow up to his neck in the back woods in Newfoundland Canada. Tyrone Owens who is a member of Sledcore Outdoor Adventure & Lifestyle that specializes in rescuing animals that are trapped in snow along with his partner Jonathan Anstey had the task of trying to get a small moose that fell into a muddy hole. Owens and Anstey along with the other members of the group had to dig a route so that the young moose could leave his trap. Even though the rescuers were able to get the moose out of the snow trap by keeping their distance from the front of their moose since he would have charged at them after he escaped the trap. The rescuers of the moose have told people never to attempt to rescue a moose from a snow trap without proper training since a moose is not an animal you want to mess with. Just for the record a moose is able to walk during a snowstorm with ease. The moose that was trapped fell into a mud section of the snow.
