What are some of your tips and tricks to get the best battery life in your mobile phone.

My phone is an old Nexus 5 and the battery is weak. It lasts half a day and I am constantly connecting it to charge.
What are your tips to improve battery life.
I turn off bluetooth, dim the screen and lock the phone when it's not in use.
What are your tricks to maximise battery life.

Delete any apps you do not use , or go to settings and under apps choose the apps you don’t want to run on your phone while not using it

@Dyvette16 probably yes. Facebook is a notorious data and battery consumer.

My phone does not lobat easily yet but I have a Max Optimizer app installed, it has a battery saver and many features like memory booster, cleaner, cpu cooler, file scanner, so many, think more than 10 uses in one app.

@pitstop get it directly from playstore. I had tested Max optimizer, so far so good, my teenage daughter chose it for me, these young people seem to know more than us when it comes to choosing a bad and a good app cause all they do is tinker with their devices
