Got my water heater checked and cleaned - what a load of gunk that came out.

My water heater was starting to play up a bit. The water would start out nice and hot, but in about 5 minutes the heat would decrease and the heater would struggle to get it hot again. Had to wait 15 minutes after someone else had a shower to use it again.
The person checked and when he cleaned it found a lot of build up of limescale and gunk. He cleaned it all out and hopefully it will be all set. See the picture - it shocked me when I saw it. I stay in a place where the water is quite hard.

Good thing you got the heater cleaned out. I bet it will normally function again.
