Facebook should allow the monetization of content. Only they want to collect everything.

Facebook as well services should allow the monetization of content for network users. That would prevent so many spam accounts trying to monetize with false profiles. They only want to receive profits through Facebook Ads but they do not reward users with a system that allows them to earn money with them. I think it's time for Facebook to step up in this regard. What do you think? Should Facebook monetize?

Why would they bother to share the wealth? If they did it could really push the site to a whole new level but with that comes plagiarism and online scams

Another dream please. Facebook wouldn't make much doing that. They would only be giving good money away.

I'm waiting for that moment. I have posted videos on facebook that have reached more than 100 thousand reproductions. Imagine that it could be monetized. It would be great!

@edevis18 even if they do that, I believe they will start from the moment they decide, not before
