David and Louise Turpin projected an image of a picture perfect family on social media. They seemed like a normal family.. but were not .. They posted photos of themselves with their 13 children, smiling as they celebrated birthdays, renewed wedding vows and visited Disneyland together. David Allen Turpin, 57, and Louise Anna Turpin, 49, are accused of holding their children captive in their California home in filthy conditions, with some shackled to beds with chains and padlocks. I saw videos of this online, would make you sick. How do people do these things, especially to kids... Hang them .. for doing this.. Very sad ..

What was more surprising was some of the children were already adults and yet did nothing to escape from their condition? It's like they were totally brainwashed by their parents.

Yes but since no school or interaction with others.. they seem like they are still young.. very sad indeed..

This is terrible. I don´t know why social services don´t check on these things.

@MALUSE We don´t have that in Chile either. I agree with you. No one can really check how children are taught at home. And they need to socialize with other kids.

@kayshope you know these children/adults don't stand much of a chance assimilating back into society...they will lack all social skills and probably have be so physically deprived that their health will surely suffer as well.
