A dog that went missing for 15 days found alive in Idaho

A very good story that comes from Boise Idaho when a mixed breed terrier named Apollo fled from a rollover accident on Interstate 84 near Boise Idaho just after Christmas. The Idaho Humane Society (IHS) as soon as they heard the news of the missing dog started to search for the missing dog when a group of volunteers used food and water in the area where the accident happened near the Stage Stop. Kristine Schellhaas who is the spokesperson of the IHS said that she had instructed the community members of the Stage Stop and the surrounding areas to be on the lookout for Apollo. David Banks who is a caretaker at the Double Tap Range looked out of his window and saw the missing dog. David reported the sighting of the dog. The IHS members came to recover Apollo and take him to a veterinarian to check on his condition.Apollo received a clean bill of health and was returned to his owners on Tuesday. It is evident that Apollo who went missing for 15 days in cold weather was able to find food and drinks to survive his ordeal and survive.
