The latest trend is in the National Football League is for fans of one football team to donate their hard earned money to the charity of the football player who plays for their rival team.
Case in point is New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead 's charity called "What You Give Will Grow" which received over $150,000 in donations from Minnesota Vikings fans since Morstead played in the National Football Conference (NFC) Divisional playoff with an injury to his right rib.
Thomas is so moved by the generosity of Vikings fans for their donations to his charity that he will personally deliver a check in Minneapolis to the Vikings charity Child Life Program before the start of Super Bowl 52 on February 4, 2018.
Goes to show you that some football fans like to give away money to support the charities of their rival football teams.
