This image was chosen to be in the Niagara community 2018 calendar! I shot this image when I first moved to St. Catharines, Imagine someone carrying a huge tripod on a bus and down the city streets taking photographs with a dslr on top, This was around February 2017. There is a lot of color in this shot!

I love the photo and I also love St. Paul Street. I don't spend a lot of time in St.Catharines but when I do I enjoy it. I had a store in Port Dalhousie before the high-rise started to ruin the community.

Same here, I usually take the transit to st paul because it just feels like the main street I like to hang at, And yeah it's a pity that the water has risen in Port Dalhousie, It crapped on a lot of peoples parades

@TwentySevenSins the high rise I was speaking of is the very big tall building that will take over Port Dalhousie, but you are right too, this past summer the flooding caused by the construction made a mess there. The pier was damaged and is now closed. Its almost a ghost town, very few restaurants and stores still trying to make a living..Most are empty... of course the boats will come back for the summer.... but not the tourists.
