Worst Laundry Day...

I had the worst day, doing laundry today. What should have taken a couple of hours, took about four. First: The machines ate up $6.00 in the first laundry. Plus... I lost my laundry soap that I put in there, before I deposited my money. Made sure the machines worked, before I did that again. I had just enough soap left to do the rest of my clothes, and bed pillows. Second: When I tried another machine, it stopped giving me credit, after I deposited $2.50. I was so flustered. I finally fiddled with it long enough, for the machine to give me back what it did not credit me for... Then I made a couple more attempts, before it took the rest of the money. Third: Lost $2.25 trying to dry my clothes. Fourth: One dryer was unusable. Had money stuck in the slot. My feet were very tired, and my body ached. The positive note to all this... I called the number for service on the wall...and the owners could not have been nicer. They responded very quickly to my text, and phone message. They apologized over, and over again, for the trouble I experienced. They said they were going to round it off, and process a $10 refund. They said that I should have the check in two to three business days. At least they were people of integrity. This made a huge impact, on whether I would return to use their facilities. I thanked them for their prompt reply.

I am grateful the owners made it right. But yeah... I could have done without all those headaches. LOL

What turned out to be a bad day turned out to be a good day. Both of you were honest.
