Not sure if the news had reach to some of you in other parts of the world but we seemed to have trouble with Mt. Mayon Volcano in Bicol. Well, it's kinda angry and the people feared it might explode since it's spewing out lava last night.
But what annoys me is that there was one white tourist who went even closer just to get a better look at it. In my mind saying "are you a *&^#@ for going near" and what's worst is that he didn't get arrested for it.
Reminds me of that activity with my brother two years ago in batangas and we went to the island closest to Taal Volcano. We went there to educate the poor and give them snacks. The coordinator told us how the white tourist were so annoying and didn't listen to their guides and went to the island on their own getting veggies and all.
You know if there's a volcano about to blow out don't come close to it.

Hello @rheicel There was never additional information about this tourist. But what ever his profession is he shouldn't be there.

Mayon has already exploded during the Monday Blues. The explosion is continuous as long as it's spewing lava.

Hello @toniganzon I hope it's not as worst as Mt Pinatubo the way it exploded in 1991. I hope it stops someday because it affects the life.

Hello @SIMPLYD They shouldn't risk it knowing that it will cost your life. Not to mention this tourist wasn't alone I think he paid a Filipino guide with him.

Hello @cttolledo why did you quickly assumed that I am bicolano? but I am not. I also heard this news in facebook and on the news tv. Foreigners never followed rules, most from the west anyway.

could it be that the foreigner wanted to have closer look at the erupting volcano? maybe it was his first time to witness a volcano spewing lava?

Hello @ridingbet And it would probably his last time if the cops didn't captured this guy. I mean, it was dangerous enough from afar.

@Letranknight2015 it should have been better if he watch the volcano at least 10 kilometers away, because the eruption can be seen from afar.

Hello @shaggin I don't know but it was smart to go near when there's activity going on the volcano.

The tourist may not be totally aware that it's dangerous. Maybe he thinks it still safe to come close. I hope nothing bad happens to him
