Food Stamps

How many people think the rules from state to state on food stamps are fare. Like some states are adopting the rules that you can use them to buy fast food and some states are adopting you only use them for healthy food products for healthy living. Also what do you think about schools not having sodas or snack foods for kids because of child obesity. My self food stamps they shouldn't be able to control what you by and the school thing its good for the kids.

My daughter qualifies for food stamps because of her disability but I don't bother with them. She'd only get maybe $20.00 worth. I believe in Kansas you can't get fast food or hot prepared food in grocery stores. As far as I know they don't restrict you otherwise.

I don't know the rules about food stamps but I do think that they should not be used for fast food. Children should not be given sodas and snacks with no nutritional value. As for obesity parents should see to it that kids get outside to play games instead of sitting by the PC.

I think all states should be the same. Yes... Healthy food is good, but because we live in America, people should have the right to purchase what they want to...especially adults. The fastfood thing is good, especially if folks are homeless, and have nowhere to cook. But the rules should be for all states, not just some.
