The Philadelphia Firefighters have been given permission during the next two weeks to wear the baseball caps of their local football team the Philadelphia Eagles who will be representing the National Football Conference (NFC) in Super Bowl 52 when the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots who will be represent the American Football Conference (AFC).
It is wise decision for the firefighters to show their support their football team who will be playing in their first Super Bowl in 13 years when they also played the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 39.
However the last time the Philadelphia Eagles won the National Football Championship was in 1960 when they defeated the Green Bay Packers which was the only time that the late Vince T. Lombardi ever lost a championship game as the coach of the Packers from 1959-1967.

Was that game played on Green Bay's home field, which would have been a bad loss, or on Philadelphia's field, which was also a sad loss, but not so bad if it was on the road. It's always sad when the Pack loses a championship game. We haven't lost many of them, though this year was not a great year for the Pack. We'll come back strong next year.
Good luck to the Eagles in the Super Bowl. I hope they win. I really do.

Your Packers have had a great run of winning football games since the era of the late Vince Lombardi and his successors.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, they have. I don't know, but I think we still hold more titles than any other team.
