When I was 6, I never had any new toy because my mother could not afford it. She used to work at a Chinese lady house. The lady liked to a lot. She gave me all the toys her son had when he was little. I was so happy. 1st time I had legos that belong to me. She gave me some legos, cars, a golf kit and a blackboard. I never really had the chance to play with the toys because that day my uncle came to visit my mom. He wasn't poor but my mom loved her siblings a lot. My cousin started crying and said he wanted these toys. My mom gave all the toys to my cousin. That was the worse thing she did to me as a kid. Because I never had any toys to play with. As a single mother I knew that it was hard for her to buy me toys. But I didn't like the fact that if I had a toy she had to give it to someone else. It still hurts me when I thing of that day. I was so excited and really wanted to play with those toys.

The worst thing that my mother did was that she left me on night like 3am outside my grandma's house saying that she would come back in a couple of minutes and she never did. I try to knock on the door and nobody open I was like 4years. I was really scared so they opened me the door like early in the morning like 6. My mother went with another man and never came back.

Aww that's awful. I can understand how it made you feel. That's a really bad thing. Leaving a little kid who need her mother. I hope you are doing better. If you don't mind me asking have you been staying at your grandma since?

@Maria24 Okay. Hope you have a good life and are happy. What your mom did was something unforgettable. But what is done is done. Try to be happy.

That was an awful thing your mother did - she should have just given your cousin one of the toys. And she should have asked you if that was alright as they were your toys. The lady gave them to you, not your mother.

Yes but she didn't. It really felt bad. I wish she knew how I felt.

That was thoughtless action on your mother's part. Why not divide the toys. I can see how this would hurt a 6 year old. Hugs

Indeed giving just one or two would still not be good but at least I would have something to play with but she gave it all always with me left without any toys. Hugs. Thanks for understanding.

That is a hurtful thing to do, give your toys away. If you ever have children, you do not have to treat them the same, you can always be better :)

@BabeSays I wouldn't hate your grandma. Just turn that into strength. My mother was the same way. I am not going to do the same to my daughter.

You're right dear. I wouldn't do this to my child. My mother recently told me that she did many Unfair things to me because her mom used to do it to her. So in certain ways she is revenging. I haven't seen my grandma but I hate her. My mom has been unfair to me many times in the past and still hasn't change.

@taciaelisepeace You're right. I don't want to make the same mistake my mother did.
