Yeah, I've been sewing by hand for a long time but it's pretty time consuming and I could never get the hang of it. So now I'm trying something different.

@kavinitu Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Plus I won't have to ask my mom to fix my clothes anymore. God knows she's already got enough malarkey to deal with.

That's nice! I'm planning to get myself a sewing machine as well. What brand would you recommend? I wanted to try sewing. Perhaps a small sewing machine, just the basic one.

Awesome. I don't know much about sewing machine brands, but the one I got was a HAITRAL portable one. I'm new to sewing myself so I figured a cheaper one without all the bells and whistles would be a good place to start.

@PeachieMew I was thinking of as portable sewing machine, too. My grandma and my mom used to sew dresses for me when I was a kid. I'd like to try it myself now that I'm grown up. Will check Amazon now. Thanks!
