Social media was a factor at the last presidential elections of the United States. Many persons avoid it completely while on social media. Yet, it is in your face all the time. I wonder what people see in political news on social media. I have never liked one; never will. Do you click like on political news when you see them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram? It would be interesting to know your answers.

I agree. News websites devoting much time to politics are springing all over the net. It's the reach of the net. It's never been so good for information distribution.

First of all I do not check news in internet mostly until and unless there is some important news. Then social media I rarely use it so no chance I get news through social media.

Usually No. Honestly? I found myself in a situation wherein I do not want to participate in election, I do not want to vote because of doubts to all candidates, that today it's hard to know who are those with good intention.

@mydanods That's true. It's really hard to decide who are really deserving.

That is true. Many politicians are not vying for office to serve. They want to make money from the office.

I live in Israel so we have news a lot and also can go online to get the news. I am glad because need to know what is going on here. When I go into facebook my group of facebook friends are very political because we have to stand up for Israel and all the wrong news that is being spread about Jews and our country.

That means you like reading political news on social media? Unfortunately, I don't. I like my experience on social media to be with friends and family.

@mydanods It depends on what it is. If it is something to do with Israel yes I want to know what is being said Nnaemeka. There is so many lies said about us and the things we do for the world are not mentioned. There are worse countries that do bad things but they are not mentioned.

True. Just as there are a lot of scam websites on the Internet. It's really bothersome. It's the anonymous nature of the Internet that makes it so.
