I'm Tired.

I’m Tired.
I’m tired of people putting me down.
I’m tired of people talking about me behind my back.
I’m tired of people trying to get information from me only to try to use it against me.
I’m tired of being lied to.
I’m tired of being taken advantage of.
I’m tired of not getting the credit I deserve.
I’m tired of being the only one that makes an effort.
I’m tired of trying. Trying to fix things that will never be fixed or things that are better off never being fixed.
I’m tired of being tired.
For the most part, I feel like I’m a good person. Yes, I have my moments where I want the attention or credit I deserve but honestly, those are few and far between. I stand in the shadows and do what I can with what I have.
Whether that’s picking up a friend and taking them to lunch because they’re having a bad week or bringing them some groceries because all of their kids are sick and they just can’t get to the store.
But then the thing that pisses me off the most is how someone that wasn’t even involved, someone that didn’t even know it until after the fact, would be telling people that it was all her idea. That she gave me the money to do the things I did. And I heard it from her own mouth! This is the same person that asks to borrow money from me every 2-3 weeks.
I am just plain tired. Tired of it all.
But . . .
I am going to continue on. For me. For my daughter. For everyone that truly cares about me and makes an effort.
And I’m going to start getting rid of the people that bring me down. As for my sister, I can never truly get rid of her completely as that would mean I couldn’t see my nephews again but I can limit our relationship.
After all, I don’t “support” her anyway.

Doesn't seem like you have the best people around you.. but I get the whole thing as I've felt those ways alot.
Just remember.. don't change who you are, because others don't appreciate it. Be proud of yourself for being kind and going above and beyond for others.

Thank you. I don't plan on changing who I am but I am planning on changing certain relationships. Limiting the ones that bring me down and spending more on the ones that bring me up.

I do have a few good friends who have seen how my sister treats me so they understand. I am thankful to Mylot because I can express myself without anyone around me getting upset or defensive. Or cry. My sister thinks that if we're in an argument that crying will immediately end it.

I know its hard, you're still standing firm! I'm glad you're not losing hopes even when you're tired! Take some rest if you want, not telling the physical one, the mental one! And deal with the world again.
Hope happiness come to you!

Thank you. I think a major part in all of this is that I take on more than I should. Or when something goes wrong, I feel like it's my fault somehow or well that's what's been imprinted on my brain.
I'm so sick of feeling bad when I want to spend a little money on myself like going and buying a metal detector. I mean, it might only be $100 but my sister likes to make me feel bad because she constantly doesn't have money to pay her bills.

I try but it's hard sometimes as I see them every day because I take care of my nephew every day.
