How do you use paperclips?

Somebody once worked out that fewer than 1% of the 11 billion paperclips that are sold each year is ever used to clip pieces of paper together! I was reminded of this just now when I realized that the key ring that holds together the keys for our garden sheds is - in fact - a large paperclip! I have in the past used an unbent paperclip to poke into the small hole on a CD player to get a trapped disk released. There must be lots of other uses for paperclips that have not yet occurred to me that might have occurred to you. Would you like to divulge what these may be?

I like the coat-hanger, but I think most of my clothes would be too big for it!

@pitsipeahie Ooh yes - I hadn't noticed the cat - that is rather good, isn't it? This strikes me as evidence that some people have far too much time on their hands!

Yes - I have done that too! A timely paper clip has saved embarrassment from button malfunction!

Wow! That's so boring! Whatever happened to your natural-born creative talent?!

They are handy for putting on necklaces and bracelets ( you'd know all about that!). You unravel them and put them through the parts that need to fit together - it makes it easier, as it can be a fiddly job.

That sounds reasonable. It might also work on malfunctioning wristwatch straps.

I liked the topic and ideas of your using paper clips. No, I haven't had any extraordinary use of paperclip here

Sharing it here. Something I saw online. I'm not creative or talented though to create one like this. But this art is amazing! Creative paper clip art

I dont typically only occasionally. Stapling is a more secure option. At my job we usually keep them on hand just in case

when chained, it can be a decoration of a window, especially if these are colored paper clips.
