Its tamale time at my house...

My husband said id love some tamales this week. I usually only make at christmas time. As they are alot of work.. But we got alot of chicken in freezer on sale this week. So I said yes. So tomorrow i start making like 5-6 dozen chicken tamales. Ill be beat when I get done. But my husband will be happy. Thats what counts..

What a nice thing to do for your husband. It's so nice to have do things to make family happy. I will look up what tamales are. It seems like tempura it's so much fuss to make and cook, but the end result is so delicious!

I was doing a little research on it and it sounds delicious, but very time consuming to make. Guess we all have specialty dishes, that's time consuming to make, but so delicious so we put up with making them. Some people love tamales so much they make it regularly. I pass by a Tamale Shop where I ride the bus and often wondered about it. Thank you!
