At What Rate Your Government Impose tax on your Income?

In India after a certain slab which is not much the tax imposed on people is too much that varies from 20 to 40 % because of which I personally feel that people are not really keen in paying Taxes! I heard that in other countries Tax rates are considerably low! May I know at what rate you are being taxed on your income dear friends?
