Most of the major holidays have some sort of tie-in at Neopets. Valentine's Day is one of the bigger shopping holidays and people tend to spend a lot of NP on presents and gifts for friends. For a limited time there's a free gift bag that you can claim in the NC Mall on the front page. I rarely open these bags but I do save them up to trade with other people for NC items I want or missed out on in the past. There are usually three or four different bags for Valentine's Day so you'll have to keep checking the NC Mall to see if / when they are added. Because they are an NC Mall item you can't sell them in your shop but you can trade them with other players if you have gift boxes.
