I have lost my purpose in life

what I have ever had is gone, now there is only hope that maybe will never come true. Where should I go while my feet can not stand. The dark past is always haunting me so I'm always afraid to make decisions in my life. I need light to illuminate my soul that is in darkness because I have lost my purpose in life.

Why do you say that? Don't you have family that will inspire you to have purpose in life.
My father lost his lower left leg, 84-year-old but he still wants to live more years so he is following his diet for a diabetic.
We want him to live longer so he can still see some of his small grandchildren become successful professionals.

Well what are the things you like to do? What makes you happy? You can do more of those things for the meantime. Not sure what happened in the past but maybe you should start meditating too?

@1hopefulman I want to be a blogger and make money on that, then I can use the money to have my own store at my house.

You know what everyone has a purpose on Earth. How about prayers and thankfulness for you're healthy, alive and here at mylot.com. Take care. I believe that you're life is worthwhile and you'll find your way. Take care and don't give up for all you know you could win the lottery one day!

You haven't lost everything. You have your life, which means the possibility to find a new purpose to live for. You have your family and Friends. Lost material things can be reached again. To start again or from nothing can be a great possibility to change life. You know you neead light, there you have a first purpose. There are plenty of possibilites outside to look for. You have got the fortune that you are conscious about knowing that you need a purpose in life. Many people are blind as they do not recognize it. So your first step is done. You may feel lucky that you can decide on your own which may be your next purpose in life. There are many possibilities outside. So don't give up.

You're about that, thank you for your advice. I know what I should do are try to relax, be grateful and see from the other side. but sometimes I remember that I've tried to one step forward then I was hit two step backward, it makes me feel sad and weakness.
