Random conversation I had with a nosy stranger on a bus once....
Q Is that guy I saw you with, your husband?
A Yes.
Q Isn't he twice your age, at least?
A He'll be twice my age on April 7 when he turns 72.
Q Why?
A Because marrying two guys my own age would be bigamy.
Q Isn't he old enough to be your father?
A If your spouse is your own age, s/he's young enough to be your sibling!
Watching the looks on their faces when they receive logical answers is a million more times than just telling nosey people to go jump out a window.

My 96 year old aunt was married with children before she married my uncle. They all go grey early in her family, so she would color her hair when she was in the workforce. One time, someone asked if her oldest son, who happened to be with her, was her husband.
