Presidents day on Monday..

Why do we need a presidents day? Just to give kids and government workers another paid day off? Its ok to celebrate the good ones we have had here in the usa.. but not close everything. They are long gone .. they wont care. if the ex presidents like Bush and Clinto want a day. Give them a parada or a dinner... not a day off !!! thats my opinion !!!!

When I was a kid, both Lincoln's and Washington's birthdays in February were days off from school. Then the government merged them into an official three day weekend. Supposedly it was pushed by the ski industry to create a three day weekend for skiing and winter sports.

well sorry that your opinion is not going to help.If you want to help then send a bill to congress and complain all you want. People work very hard in their jobs.A day off is good for them.You cannot deny this.

A day off maybe, but if we give a day off for a president why not other important people.. Then they can have 40 days off and 3 day weekends.
