I suffer from a mental health illness!

I suffer from a mental health illness and wonder how many others do and their strategies for dealing with day to day life. I also suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and believe I have an undiagnosed personality disorder. It's not for trying, but I feel sometimes the doctors aren't understanding or listening to me fully and have diagnosed me before I've finished speaking. What are your experiences with dealing with this illness?

I am sorry you are suffering. It is indeed suffering as well I know. There is nothing that can help me. Medicine does somewhat, but it is up to me to keep control of myself. Doctors are ignorant mostly. I am not saying there are none with good intentions, but I feel they are in over their head with mental illness so to speak. In the old days it was easy for docs to handle it, as they could torture the mentally ill in insane asylums. It may make a come back one never knows.

Doctors told me that they can't help me. I tried mindfulness with great success, but now I feel too bad to practice again.
