Dennis Leger who is the owner of a female Labrador Retriever named Nora is thankful that the fire fighters in Springfield Massachusetts were able to rescue his dog who fell into the Five Mile Pond today. Dennis attempted to rescue his dog when she fell into the icy pond after they both were walking on the icy pond when Nora fell into the pond. Dennis or a concerned citizen did call the authorities to come and rescue the dog. The firefighters were able to save Nora by using an ice sled. A firefighter used.a protective suit to get Nora out of danger on the ground. Nora was not seriously injured during her close encounter of drowning in the pond. The lesson to be learned is that walking on thin ice during this month is very dangerous. .

I know what you mean since icy water is not the place to be walking.

Lucky Nora being saved after a caller called for help. What a hero in these firefighters and the caller! Though beautiful frozen lakes can be very deceptive. Glad to know Nora was saved!

Firefighters are underrated in the hero chain.
