Who is your Favorite Best Selling Author?

My favorite author is the late great Tom Clancy, master of the spy genre. I started reading his books in highschool, logged a couple of thousands of hours reading since then. My favorite is Clear and Present Danger which was also made into a film. I have read most of his books and I'm planning to start reading Rainbow Six soon.

@Kakashi20 The Firm was very good. His latest the Rooster Bar is on the best sellers list.

My favorite author is F Scott Fitzgerald but he is far from contemporary.
