DO OR DIE

*I asked this question like 3 years ago on my instagram account, and I thought it would be nice to repost it here, even though I have different views now* If the world, as you know it, was destroyed today, and all that remained was a wasteland, and all the proof of your people's existence was destroyed, with the exception of only a few survivors left to recreate the world, what gifts, talents, trades, skills, or knowledge would you have to offer? Would you be an asset helping to mold the new world, or would you be a liability consuming resources with nothing of value to contribute to this new land? If you did contribute, what area would you flourish in, art, technology, medical, labor, education, test subject, sacrificial lamb, lol? Just kidding about the last two...not really though, because there's always casualties of progress. So you gotta ask yourself, would you be a consumer or a producer. Just remember, consumers are usually at the mercy of the producers. If you can't produce or contribute anything beneficial, then you are always in need of those who can. It's a matter of freedom vs. slavery. Think about it. The world is changing everyday and we are entering a new era, where those who don't seek to educate themselves or better themselves to become self sufficient will be either left behind or butchered barbarically in the future by those in control, because in the midst of confusion, there is always those seeking power and control...
