Don't You Make Mistakes

I think its common to make mistakes and as they say no one is perfect and only those make mistakes who try.
So if someone makes mistakes it shouldn't be taken as sin and there is always a next time and we all can improve on that. As for me, I have made many mistakes but i need to become better with that and don't repeat the mistakes as its like a learning experience. And these days we need to learn quickly as we cannot afford to waste more time.
Do you think committing a mistake is a sin and the sinner have no place to be heard?

It depends on the mistake. If it's a mistake in ability, it isn't a sin, but a learning experience. If it is a mistake regarding actions against the law, then yes, it is a sin. We are all of us sinners and all fall short of God's glory, however, we can confess our sins and God will hear and forgive. (See today's Bible Study)

I think mistake and sin are two different words with different meaning. I guess a mistake is lighter than sin. When we say sin, it's bound to heavenly judgement.

@thesupersingh Well, I'll agree to that if it's repeated more than once.

I don“t like to use either the word sin or guilt. We all make mistakes and we only have to do better next time.

@thesupersingh i have my problems with evil people though. Are they insane? Where do you place them? You, know, serial killers, people who torture and the like.

Jesus did say cast a stone from those who never sinned at all. But then again, all of us are human and can make mistakes. The most important is you recover from your mistake and redeem yourself from it.

no. even temptation. it is not a sin. it only becomes a sin once you yield in to that temptation. just like committing mistakes. if we repeat the same mistake, even though we know how bad the result will be, it is already considered a sin

We all do commit mistakes but what is important is that we realize that we did commit it and that we are willing not to do it again. In everything that we do be it correct or wrong it always has a lesson that we learn. We grow and we learn from our experiences.

I make mistakes all the time but I think the only ones that are bad are those that hurt other people. Mistakes make us who we are and as long as we learn from them I don't think they are particularly sinful. Hello Supersingh .. recognise me?

@thesupersingh I've had an account here for some time but I tend to take long breaks. I think I will be staying for a while because there's not much doing with our other forums.

Most mistakes are simply innocent. There are some that could be interpreted as sinful.

It's not a sin to make a mistake. If it is, then the world would be full of sinners, because everyone makes mistakes. If you make a mistake, learn from it and become a better person...

many factors 's yer query 'tis purty open-ended?? makin' mistakes 'tis part 'f the growth process, without such how can one learn? this speakin' 'f matters 'f work/school/sports 'n schtuff 'f that matter. mistakes that're more 'f the personal aspect, such'd depend'n one's perspective. some schtuff the offender sees'n 'mistake' 're actually their way 'f attemptin' to cover their behavior - that which shouldn't 've occurred'n the first place. somethin' they'd ne'er admit willin'ly without the evidence bein' brought. e'en then, those sorta folks'll point the finger 'f blame elsewhere.
