I Can't Remember Ever Being This Tired

Jupiter's Beard I planted on lower left, purple scabiosa flower to it's right. Catmint in and around pot on extreme right, and borage above it.

I got a lot done yesterday, though you'd never know it unless you'd seen all the before photos. I forgot to take a photo of what I spent most of the day doing -- sorting and moving all the paper that needs filing into the room I'd had clear for when Joey came. I'd going to use those two clear bed surfaces to sort all that paper. First the financial stuff for taxes, and then all the other stuff. I have two sorting organizers on one bed and also last year's accordian file with receipts, etc. On the other bed are all the stacks of paper from all over the house that need to be filed. On the floor between the two beds I have a box for paper to recycle and another for paper to shred. I guess you know what I'll be doing until Rebekah comes again. Got to finish before Joey comes again in June. After I got enough paper into that room to get started, I put away a batch of chili I'd made and then I went outside and planted one of my root balls of Jupiter's Beard a neighbor gave me so that a least one of the three would get into the ground before the expected rain this week. I also spread a few seeds and some organic snail bait around before covering the plants up again with floating row covers. We expect frost to continue over the next ten days. I couldn't plant the other root balls because the ground is so hard. I'll have to wait until after the rain so I can dig the holes. By the time I finished with the work in the yard I was very tired. I heated up a bowl of the chili I had made in the crockpot and put in the refrigerator, sat down and ate it while I watch some TV, and had a crown fall off a tooth. By that time it was 7PM. My next heart pill was due at 8, but my heart didn't wait for it. It started to palpitate. At 7:30 I gave up and took my pill early. The palpitations kept on for another two hours. I sat in my chair and tried to read the book I need to review for a blog post tonight, but at 9 I was so tired I almost fell asleep in the chair. I was completely exhausted. I barely had enough energy to brush my teeth and get into bed. But I did. I can't remember the last time I was this tired. When was the last time you felt you'd used all the energy you had? What activities tire you out the most?

I did. I thin I've finally got the heart medication right now, and I haven't had an episode in a week. I'm almost afraid to write that down.

You should take care of yourself and not overdo it. The last time I was insanely tired was last week when I had bad toothache. It's not just the lack of sleep at night, it's coping with the pain that wears you out too. I slept so well once I had the tooth extracted. It really was bliss. I hope you have recovered now.

Cleaning and organizing sure is exhausting. Don't over do it with her your heart palpitates like that. Does it seem to do it more when you are exhausted?

No. Sometimes it hits me in the morning when I'm still in bed or in the evening when I've been on the computer a lot. It's possible that working harder than usual physically may have caused my body to utilize the morning dose of medical more quickly. I'll have to ask my doctor about the effect of physical work on how fast I use up a dose of medication.

Goodness. Today sort of felt like one of those days for me but I was lucky to get a short nap in. Hope you sleep well anyway, especially knowing how much you got done!!

I got lots of sleep and rest last night, and am back to normal today. Now I have to catch up online.
