finished knitting this pair of socks while waiting for a pattern for the sock knitting club to be release

I started knitting the second sock to this pair within this past week. I just finished them up a little while ago. I like knitting plain socks with no design because they don't take very long for me to make. On to finishing up the next pair!!

I have never tried knitting socks because of that confusing bend at the heel! I can knit and purl and that 's about it.

The heel that I knit into my socks is the afterthought heel. I watched Laura Linneman's tutorial video about the heel on her Youtube channel called The Knit Girllls. She explains it very well. I have tried another heel but I didn't like it as well as this one. I am going to have to get brave, though, and try other heels, too.
