I woke up early as Leticia called me that she would not be coming today. One of her brothers is dying and she went to see him for the last time and to help out, later on, with the funeral service. I have been reading for a long time about what people do in other parts of the world and know what we do here and it is sometimes quite different. Christmas are family days and we travel (as Leticia did) to say goodbye to a relative. We are all involved and when there is little money, as it happens with some people, everyone gives some. How is it where you live? How are your family ties in those situations? Share.

Family help one another here but sometimes those ties break down due to envy and quarreling usually caused by money.

It is a pity. And I have seen that in big countries, people are too far away from each other to see each other at all.
