I have posted a discussion about the Pickpockets few hours back!
This is an interesting discussion here in continuation of it , which states that majority of pickpockets active in Delhi Metro Trains are women!
Yes, as per the Delhi Police record, in out of 373 cases recorded against pickpocket, it was found that 329 in cases women were the culprit which amounts about 90% !
The above statistics are for the current year, where they manged to pick a booty of more than $30,000 ( More than twenty lakhs of rupees)!
These women are operating in groups varying from 2 to 15 people in one group.
These women are aged between 18 to 40 years are hailing from the State of Maharashtra!
Now I am really shocked to know this fact!
Your comment on this topic would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Oh, you did not know about it? In Russia, we know very well that the majority of shoplifters and pickpockets in buses are females. Men take money forcefully, women - silently

I have seen many such ladies in a crowded bus. Even though there is not crowded they make artificial rush and try to open the bag for taking money. Doing this way a lady managed to open my handbag but she could not take money, before I felt something wrong and shift my place. Then I seen my bag's zipper was opened but money is safe in it.

@AKRao24 Yes, of course, experience is the great teacher, she tried to push me as if she needs some space and hanging her duppatta infront me so that I can't see what she is doing. We always get a sense of warning someone doing something creatively. So I escaped.

I also read about this some time back. It is very serious and we have to be very careful while travelling in public transport.
