This afternoon was another beautiful day with sunshine, a gentle breeze, and 50-degree weather and close to 60. A wonderful day to walk to the gym without the worry of rain or snow coming this way, except for Thursday afternoon--75% percent of rain around the same time I leave for the gym. I'll be going as planned and leaving my phone at home for the time being. I did find out that Paige didn't feel well on Thursday afternoon after she left work. It happens.
Today was a rough and tough workout in the pool. I did my usual warmup routine of one lap with the backstroke and one lap with the elementary backstroke.
Then she wanted me to go as far as I can in ten minutes, do any stroke I want. I did a total of 8 laps (300 yards) and mixed it up with 3 laps of elementary backstroke, 2 laps of backstroke, 2 laps of breast stroke, and 1 of the freestyle (not in this order).
Then she wanted me to go down and back in a batch of 3 laps with the bac backstroke: combined I did half and half: 3 laps of backstroke and 3 laps of the elementary backstroke.
To finish it up, I did 2 laps of the breast stroke (150 yards) before I call it a day. Phew!
Tomorrow morning's weather looks good to head back to water aerobics. I hope to squeeze it a practice lap with the freestyle. Unfortunately, it'll rain at 50% only on the way to the gym. So I'll go and baggie my phone. I'm not sure if Amanda would be there. But if Sara offer a ride, I'll take her up on her offer.
As for Friday, we're getting 50% chance of snow on Friday morning with temps in the 30s. Right now, it's iffy. But since I'm down to the final few weeks of my membership (will make a decision on 3/20/18), I'm going to bite the bullet and wear my boots. I hope to get a practice lap with the freestyle too. Friday night would be in the high 20s. So I'm going to go to this class and hope to see Amanda shows up.
I'll keep you posted. No new texts from Rachel yet.

You go from sunshine to snow in a week. Bummer.
