Yesterday my friend bought some snacks for 48 rupees. He gave 50 rupees instead of 48 rupees exactly because he don't have correct amount .The shopkeeper forget to return a change of 2 rupees.
I asked,"why are you not asking for change"?He instantly replied ,"I am feeling guilt to ask 2 rupees" (pennies).
I said ,Its your money why are you feeling guilt..But he replied ,"I have a feel that people in the shop stare me on this" ..
If I were in his place I would definitely asked change of rupees 2 .Even if it was 1 rupee ,I will ask .
What about you all guys?
What's your opinion on this ?

Why should we feel guilty to ask our money, will the shopkeeper take less money if we don't have the right amount, no then why should we

People generously tip the servers in big hotels and restaurants but they sure as hell won't hesitate to bargain or to ask change from poor street vendors.
The hypocrisy and stupidity of indians deserve a gallantry award at this point. Seriously!

No, because they have the right to say no if they cannot give out change or do not have it. i think if you buy something from them then they aeremore likely to give you change.

it's our money ,so we have every right to ask the balance! If I were in that place...no place for guilt and all those things! I would have surely got the change !
