There is some good news from Shawnee Oklahoma this week. Billy Brown who is the football coach at Shawnee High School along with members of his football team are picking up fallen tree branches to be placed in a truck to be taken to a local dumpster.
An ice storm hit the Shawnee Oklahoma region which did knock down a lot of trees and other objects.
Brown along with members of his high school football team are spending their off season assisting veterans and elderly people in the neighborhoods who cannot pick up the debris from their homes.
It is nice to see that the Shawnee High School football team and their coaches have decided to give back to their community by doing simple tasks to assist other people in need.

It really is since the football players are on their off season at this time before spring football starts next month.

@Deepizzaguy Nice of them. I remember when my husband was a pro soccer player, all the team went once in a while to donate blood to a hospital

@marguicha It is good to know that sports stars are not greedy hogs that do not care to assist the needy in their communities.
