What will people say? / myLot

I know people who made their own life hell. Some are suffering domestic violence or facing harassment . They are not ready to raise their voices because they are so worried about "what people say?" . They are ready to accept atrocity. Why? I am not able to understand why they think so much .why don't they raise voice? What do you think? Are you one of them?

I think its hard to understand those who stay in abusive relationships until we are in their shoes.

Did you ever think that a person that is in a violent relatlionship is afraid and feels it will not do any good to turn the person in. He will just come after her harder or find others too.

I can say why some are suffering violence and they can't leave. They became dependent, they can't cope by themselves. If you talk about women some of them have children and can't work. They don't have a job. Where should they go without money? At least in my country this happens a lot.
