Can we have that state of mind? I know when I was a child I was happy, I enjoyed everything. I had peace of mind and I hadn't worries. I lived in the present moment. That was wonderful. I felt loved and safe. Now I'm the opposite. I have lots of worries, no peace of mind, I don't live in the present moment, I don't feel loved and I can't be happy. I lost peace of mind and soul.Do you think we can be like a child again? With that curiosity , safety, happiness, innocence, peace of mind?

@Courage7 In my country it's not easy to get disability. They don't have disability for anxiety and panic attacks. It's available only for major depression.Disability doesn't allow me to survive. I am very sorry you were kidnapped. This is a trauma. I hope we will recover some day.

@dya80dya Well you have major depression right as you are crying non stop. I pray you can get it for yourself. I did not go on it til way later in years..I was over 50. I suffered all the years and worked but could not work when I had the nervous breakdown. You are young I am assuming.

It is a blessing to be happy like a child. As an adult one has to face the problems in life. Same time it is not necessary to be surrounded with worries and without peace. Please try to find out the root cause of your problems and search a solution for it. Please remember, your happiness entirely depends on 'you'. If we depend other's for being happy then we will fail miserably.

I don't know if we can ever be that child again but it lives inside us with our memories. Once adulthood begins then so do our worries. I remember thinking how great it would be when I left school and had no more homework. Little did I know that it was just the beginning.

I think we all have a bit of child left in us if we let him or her come out. We can have that state of mind and peace and safety, curiosity and happiness especially if we have God in our life. We need to let go of things and reduce our stress. I think as we get older we learn to do this more and we can have that peace and happiness more. Give worries to God and trust him. It makes a huge difference. God bless

I also wish I could back being a child because it's nice being an innocent kid but we can't skip growing up and be older someday. Aging is inevitable but we could still live happily it depends on us on how we're gonna live a happy and peaceful life.

Even if we are older, I sincerely believe we can still be children or what they say child at heart. There is nothing wrong being childlike just as long as you dont creep out others and act like a child.
