Kristin Wiig is a comedienne who got famous from SNL. She is really funny and being funny got her Hollywood fame. Patty Jenkins, the director of the Box office monster Wonderwoman announced Kristin Wiig will be the villain on the sequel. She will play Wonder Woman's nemisis Cheetah. Cheetah is like a wearwolf but instead of turning into a wolf, she turned into a cat. She is one of the most serious supervillains out there, So I wonder if a comedic actress can pull a role like this of. I suddenly remember the attempts of comedians Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey's attempt on making a serious movie. Why do you think many comedians can't escape the comedy typecast? Do you think this role will lead to Kristin escaping being a comedy actress or do you think she will still do comedy? This is one of her comedic works.

They can't escape either how audiences perceive them or their own tendencies to ham it up. Jerry Lewis succeeded in King of Comedy and Robin Williams did some serious work where he get himself under control.

You just reminded me of Robin Williams, He is indeed a comedy actor who is able to be a dramatic actor and win acting awards that when he does drama, there is no comedian stigma.

She is an actress in doing comedy sketches as well as stand-up so hopefully she will do the part justice

I wonder if she will be able to look imposing. This is the character she will play, a monster.
